I had been reading in so many healthy recipe cookbooks about the virtues of the Vitamix, but it wasn’t until I tried a few recipes made with it that I really understood how amazing it is. I use my Vitamix at least once a day for my green smoothies. Other blenders I’ve had sometimes resulted in little pieces of kale or spinach, and that never happens with the Vitamix. I also make out-of-this-world salad dressings and dips with it that make eating healthy whole foods an enjoyable and varied experience. The blender is so powerful that it generates a lot of heat, and you can make hot soups and sauces from raw vegetables – talk about a serious time saver.
